Overview SR04 SR06 SR08

Compact servomotors

Serie SR

SR serie.

The compact servomotors of the "SR" series are made with "concentreted" technology which allows a high torque density. Designed on 3 different frame sizes, SR04, SR06 and SR08 with pairs of 0.32Nm, 1.27Nm and 2.45 respectively at 3000rpm and powers of 100, 400 and 750W.

SR04

Brushless servomotor with 40mm square frame, construction form B5.
One size with 100W power with 0.32Nm torque at 3000rpm.
Available with two windings suitable for drives for 400VAC, 230VAC and 60VDC networks.
Power and signal output with 45cm long cable.
Incremental encoder and resolver transducer.

Feedback.

The transducers mounted on the motor provide the servodrive with the information necessary to be able to precisely control the motor motion. The transducers used in the SR series are able to guarantee precision, repeatability and meet reliability and robustness criteria.

Resolver
The resolver is an electromechanical device used in rotary applications to detect the speed, direction and position of a rotating shaft. Due to its construction structure it is certainly the most suitable transducer for harsh working environments and for this reason it is a favorite. Resolutions vary by drive and can be 16bit or 12bit.

Incremental encoder with Hall's sensors

The Incremental Encoder is an opto-electronic device applied to the motor rotor that provides relative, non-absolute position information measured in pulses per revolution.
The standard resolution of the incremental encoders adopted is 2500ppr.

Parking brake

The optional parking brake is a spring brake with a certain polarity,  powered by 24 VDC and can only allow a limited number of emergency braking, it must not be used for continuous dynamic braking.

To release the brake, the winding must be powered. In the absence of current, the armature is attracted by the force of the magnetic field generated by the permanent magnets towards the friction surface. In this way, frictional locking is obtained without play.

When the brakes are new and work at high speed, the torque may be lower than the declared value. Due to the power dissipated by the brake, it is recommended to derate the motor stall torque by 5%.
